Scale is very important when selecting window treatments for small windows. One inch and two inch slats would have made this window appear small. By simply ordering the blind longer than the window it visually increased the size of the window and disguised the masonry patch. Color coordinated box brackets were used so the blind can be easily removed to open and clean the window and to bypass the natural gas line.
