Our goal focused on classic draperies which both complimented the antique furnishings and allowed them to be the focal point.
This roll pleat sheer drapery adds diffused light, privacy and softness to the living room. The Driftless Cloud white sheer fabric effortlessly dresses the long window combination which now appears as one unit and simplifies all the lines. Roll pleats are a great choice for a traversing polyester sheer as they keep even, voluptuous folds that allow illumination using the natural light.
The center draw of the decorative traversing rod’s wand effortlessly allows the drapery to display the unobstructed view from the large center picture window when wanted. Matte gold was chosen to compliment the numerous gold and brass details of the room’s antique furnishings. The faceted crystal finials add a touch of modern sparkle.
The end result feels as if the sheer drapery has always been part of the room. This window treatment looks as if it could be antique but still appears fresh and new.
